BCAA regularly inspects the repair facilities of participating garages throughout the province. Only garages that meet BCAA standards, by ensuring the quality of their equipment and service, are designated as an Approved Auto Repair Service and are able to display this sign.

BC Vehicle Inspection Facility

Mertin Hyundai is a proud designated inspection facility in Chilliwack, BC.

The Vehicle Inspection Program in British Columbia is a privately-delivered mandatory program which is monitored and regulated by government through various Acts & Regulations and the Vehicle Inspection Manual (Standards of Safety and Repair).

The inspections are performed by mechanics authorized by Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement (CVSE) as Authorized Inspectors (AIs) at Designated Inspection Facilities (DIFs), and at Preventative Maintenance facilities for large fleets. Audits are performed on both AIs and DIFs by CVSE Vehicle Inspectors to monitor compliance of the applicable standards and regulations.

Federal Vehicle Inspection Facility

Mertin Hyundai is also a designated Federal Inspection Facility in Chilliwack, BC.

If you plan to import a vehicle into Canada, you should be aware that it has to comply with all Canadian import laws. The vehicle must meet the requirements of the Canadian Border Services Agency, Transport Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency before it can be imported.

We have factory trained technicians available to work on your vehicle. All of our staff work very hard, mostly on their own time to keep up to date with the latest technical training available. We do only the work that you request. We will do no unauthorized work. We will quote you an accurate price up front and we will deliver on what we promise.
